Elemental is redefining modern property development—and they needed a digital presence to match. I was brought in to lead the property developer website design from concept to execution. The goal? A sleek, scalable platform that could showcase multiple high-end developments under one beautifully bold brand.
Clean, confident, and built to convert, this site isn’t just a portfolio—it’s a statement.

The challenge
Elemental is a visionary property development company in Cape Town with projects that feel anything but cookie-cutter. Their properties are bold, modern, and human-centred—but their old website? Not so much.
It lacked rhythm, cohesion, and the kind of confident digital presence that aligned with a premium brand. There was no clarity in structure, no clear messaging hierarchy, and definitely no strategic design system that could scale with future developments.
They needed a site that could house multiple high-end developments under one parent brand—while still feeling editorial, luxurious, and conversion-ready.
So they called me in.

The solution
I handled the full design and development of Elemental’s new digital home—delivering a custom property developer website design that not only looks premium, but performs flawlessly across every device and development launch.
Bespoke Design System
Elemental’s work speaks for itself—so the design needed to get out of the way, without disappearing. I created a strong visual identity for the site that feels bold but minimal, premium without being pretentious.
From the type choices to the layout rhythm, everything is deliberately clean, structured, and high-end—letting the architecture and brand visuals shine.
Modular Development Framework
I built the site using a custom WordPress theme with a fully modular layout structure. Each content block—hero, stats, project showcase, team bios, timeline—was developed to be reusable, flexible, and on-brand. This gives the client the freedom to build new pages for future developments quickly, without relying on external dev help.
Developer-Friendly Without the Dev Dependency
This site is sleek on the front, but under the hood, it’s all about efficiency. I implemented a clean backend setup that lets Elemental update content, launch new developments, and tweak layout elements without touching a line of code.
It’s dev-built, but fully client-controlled. That’s the sweet spot.
Scroll-Driven UX & Subtle Motion
The website experience feels elevated from the moment you land. Smooth scrolling, soft transitions, and scroll-based content reveals guide users naturally through the brand narrative. It’s intentionally cinematic—without compromising performance.
Built to Showcase Flagship Developments
Each project—like The Daily, Elements on Main, and Alpha One—has its own feature section with tailored content layouts. These pages were designed to feel like their own editorial experience, while still sitting comfortably within the parent site framework.
Think premium property magazine meets high-converting website.
