Contours Landscapes is an award-winning landscape company in Cape Town that creates inspiring spaces for commercial and corporate clients who wish to add function while aesthetically enhancing their outdoor spaces and properties.

The challenge

With a website that no longer accurately represented their unique selling proposition, Contours Landscape reached out to me with a design mandate to modernise the design, innovate the user experience while visually showcasing their expertise. We aligned on the website’s new direction through a series of workshops and design conversations before embarking on the project.

The solution

Web Design and Development: A major design challenge in creating this website was crafting a cohesive and immersive user experience that went beyond the basic visual and interactive components. I succeeded in this by adding in extensive and highly responsive parallax scrolling, large and attractive full-width images and custom designed fonts to make the website really come to life.

WordPress Maintenance and Support: To ensure a seamless transition from the old website to the new website, the old one was maintained on a weekly basis during the project. This meant that while people anxiously waited for the new website, the old website would still provide a seamless online experience. Once the new website was launched, the client continued to enjoy peace of mind with an in-depth maintenance plan.
